Mr. Solve (Subduction Audio, Disorder Crew, DNB Radio, EOB)
Mr. Solve has been representing Jungle/DNB for over two decades. This hardcore hardcore head got together with DJ Rucksa in 2002 with one goal in mind: bring hard-edged, tech-influenced drum & bass to everyone within earshot. Together they run Disorderly Conduct Radio on DnBRadio.com which is arguably the World’s longest running DnB Podcast.
The professionalism and style that Subduction Audio has brought to the Portland Drum & Bass scene cannot be understated.

DJ BEAR:
As a 20-year veteran of the Portland music scene, it’s not very easy to pidgeon-hole Bear into a quick synopsis… Suffice to say he cut his teeth playing House Music in the early 2,000’s; he came out swinging in the West Coast DnB Batttles to take 2nd place in his first year; he’s quietly thrown some of the city’s most prolific DNB events in the last 5 years bringing the likes of Calyx & Teebee, Tantrum Desire and Rene LaVice, he’s a rep for one of the World’s top DNB Talent agencies and he’s made some forays into production.

(DJ Special Guest)
We’re not telling you shit about this DJ ’cause we don’t want his label to get word that he’s schlepping around in the park with the likes of us hooligans, but y’all know we don’t play around when it comes to the good stuff.

Lurky: (Brontosonic, Sublimate)
Lurky has been putting in time and dedication into the mixing and production arenas for at least the last decade. With technical and genre bending mixes, Lurky often incorporates future sounds like halftime and footwork into his sets making them more accessible to younger audiences while still respecting the roots of DnB.

Silpher –
Jason Silpher has been instrumental in helping us hold down the DnB Community in PDX for the last several years. From his judging at the NW DnB Battles to his work with One Wub to the sets he plays out, Silpher is a mufuggin’ treasure and a solid asset to the squad… In his own words:
“Playing tracks for people, helping to illuminate the path to better music, has been my passion ever since I learned how to make a mix tape with a cd player and the pause and record buttons on a tape deck, early in my teens. In 1992, I moved out of my parents house to go off to college, and promptly started DJing at KWVA, the University of Oregon’s campus radio station. There, I subjected my listeners to about a year of learning how to beat match as well as produce a proper on-the-fly set, culminating in my first official gig at a Eugene warehouse party. Since then, I’ve thrown parties, owned and operated a ServoDrive sound system, owned and managed a record store, created flyers, and taught other folks as much of my knowledge and experience I could.
The electronic dance music scene is in my blood, and I can’t see living without it, or vice-versa.
Currently I reside in Portland, OR, playing clubs and festivals throughout the year.”

Enki: [SEA]
(ONSET, Soma)
Enki a.k.a Rian Jones, from Seattle, Washington has been a long standing pillar in the underground music scene. You can regularly see him playing shows and festivals up and down the West Coast. I literally book him like 3 or 4 times a year… With solid roots set in hip-hop, he has expanded his musical repertoire to encompass soulful electronic music for a combination that’s sure to spark anyone’s musical interest. Enki first got involved in the community as a promoter. And, although he has always been musically inclined, he started producing underground music in 1998. In 2006, Enki co-founded Soma Events and eventually started a monthly event called Soma Drum and Bass Sessions. In 2010 he began exploring his career as a DJ and has made a solid reputation for himself in the electronic community. His most celebrated talent on the decks is his ability to read and rock ANY crowd with his superb musical selection. Enki is inspired by the moment, his love for the people, and positive energy. He wants to spread joy through music; because life is about being happy.

Sho Nuph
In 1989 the Seattle music scene acquired the multi-talented triple threat known as Shomari Shanks. Shomari (aka DJ Sho Nuph), who, at the age of 15, quickly immersed himself in the local music community by connecting with the local hip-hop crew Tribal Music in the ’90’s. During this time he developed his craft of Rapping, Dancing, and creating new beats to share with the world. Shomari then jumped into the Jungle/ Drum & Bass Scene in the ’00’s and then became a mainstay at various spots around Seattle. Shomari’s passion for beat making and dancing is reflected in his ability to blend R&B, House, Funk, Spacious Trap, Soul, and his original tracks to keep all those bodies moving on the dance floor. In 2011 he joined forces with fellow music creator DJ WD4D to introduce Soulectro. Soulectro was created to push the boundaries of the Electronic Music Scene by introducing new and forward thinking mixes and original creations. His EP HOWEVAYAWANT, which was released is available on Bandcamp.
Let’s try to keep this pretty family friendly and let’s just enjoy DnB in the park together.
